Standard 4 workshop at AEJMC conference in San Francisco

ACEJMC will hold a workshop to discuss the recently revised Standard Four, Advancing a Culturally Proficient Workforce. ACEJMC leaders will discuss what programs need to know as they prepare to apply for accreditation or reaccreditation.  
ACEJMC Welcomes New Executive Director

Susan Balcom Walton has been named to ACEJMC's executive director position.

ACEJMC is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) for accrediting programs in professional journalism and mass communications in institutions of higher learning.

ACEJMC is the agency responsible for the evaluation of professional journalism programs in colleges and universities. Currently, 120 schools are accredited by ACEJMC.
